Crocheted neck warmer, women’s cowl, man’s cowl, cosy collar,pure wool, natural dyed, purple, creamy yellow
A chunky small scarf in one piece. It sits comfortably and can be worn turned up or down. It is warm and cosy round the neck, with no tails getting in the way. I crocheted it from a classic pure wool chunky yarn, to produce a soft, warm, thick fabric. The colours are naturally dyed from plant material, though not by me this time. The yarn is from Blue Faced Leicester sheep, dyed by the late lamented Natural Dye Studio. It is the range called ‘Dazzle’, dyed in shades of purple with a creamy yellow contrast
This snood scarf measures approx. 8 inches deep and22 inches around, so a cosy fit.
Unisex – this neck warmer is suitable for a man as well as a woman.
