Silk Scarf, handpainted in vibrant shades of red.

A hand painted silk scarf, in vibrant shades of red, in luxurious Ponge 9 silk. A special feature is the effect acheived by using salt to draw the dyes into interesting patterns and effects. The border is a brilliant red, with other shades of red and a touch of grey in the centre. As the dyes are steam fixed, the colours will not fade (i am still wearing one I made 40 years ago, while living in Belgium). This scarf can be hand washed in cool or cold water and ironed damp (not dripping wet).
All my scarves are individually signed and packed in a cellopane packet for postage, making them ideal for sending as gifts.
