This crisp sari silk scarf has been created from a vintage pure silk sari, it has a vibrant jade green background with a gold paisley border pattern. This silk infinity scarf makes a simple to wear summer accessory: just wrap it twice or three times around your neck, or fold in half & slip one end through the other – a versatile accessory of generous proportions. The natural, breathable silk means it will keep you warm in the winter but won’t be too hot for the summer. This scarf is available in three styles; a standard straight rectangular scarf, an infinity or loop scarf where the ends are sewn together to make a loop or a mobius where a twist is added before the ends are sewn to make a mobius loop, just make your selection when you checkout.
The size is approx 232 cm circumference x 27 cm, approx 91″ x 10″½.
This is vintage fabric and therefore may have slight imperfections such as small marks, holes or pulls in the fabric although I do my best to ensure that each piece is as close to perfect as possible.
I endeavour to convey the colours in the fabric as accurately as possible, however, there may be slight discrepancies between different monitors and screens. Please note the pattern placement may vary slightly but it is made from the same sari.
Washing and care: All the saris are pre-washed and ironed by me prior to sewing. Hand-wash gently with a mild detergent and line dry, before a careful warm iron. Use caution with rough fingernails and jewellery, the fabric is very delicate.
Created with love in a smoke and pet free home.
