This Tibet shawl is a grey brown in colour with a delicate floral pattern and a bold trim with a classic paisley design, it is reversible as shown in the pictures and has reverse weave colours on reverse side.
The shawl is 1 meter wide by 2.10 in length, warm and incredibly soft to touch and can easily be machine washed on a wool or delicate setting.
What I personally like about the Tibet shawl is it is light to carry and versatile; one can snuggle up with it whilst travelling, wrap a cold child up on the beach, throw it over the sofa of have it on the end of your bed as an extra layer of warmth. It is a great shawl for all seasons and can be used as much in the summer as the winter months especially on those cooler summer evenings when sitting outside.
The Tibet shawl is hard wearing, you can picnic on it or used it as a towel after an outdoor swim.
It is not pure wool, it is about 20% yak wool and 80%recycled materials such as acrylics, this in turn creates a strong and longer lasting material.
I have been trading the Tibet Shawl for 15 years now and I have built up a personal business relationship with a Tibetan run family business in Northern India, who I have met in person and that I am in regular contact with.
This year during the pandemic I have been donating 10% of the Tibet shawls profit to the family that I buy from, and I hope to continue this into the future years to come, so therefor by buying this shawl you will be directly helping the Tibetan family I buy these shawls from.
