Turkish Necklace Scarf with Oya Needled

Lace is not an ornament used on its own, it is sewn to the edges of handkerchiefs, writings and headscarves. One of the best examples of handicraft in our old society was lacework. Embroidery is mostly made with colored thread, embroidered with needle or awl. The ones made with needles are called fine lace or needle lace.

This handmade gorgeous purplescarf style necklace is made by a Turkish women. There is only one item of this necklace.

The body of the necklace is chiffon and the medallion features a silver center surrounded by needle lace.

You will get attention with this unique-gorgeous scarf and everybody will ask you where to buy it 🙂
